France and Belgium: border controls
In the wake of the terrorist attacks in Paris on 13 November 2015, France has declared a state of emergency. Controls have thus been reinstated at the country’s borders with Germany and Belgium. Travel may thus be restricted, and all travelers are urged to carry valid identity documents at all times (ID card or passport), to travel in the country with care and to follow the instructions of the French security authorities.
